It is a recreational, historic and scenic location that offers a cafe, dockyard and marine sports center. Large groups have the option of chartering a boat for the purpose of fishing, diving or exploring the Thousand Islands, Ancol Beach or Jakarta Bay. Cost: Ferry ride around the area or to the Thousand Islands costs about IDR7,500 per person. With Laskar Plaza Semanggi, we went to there to look Sunday market in there. “Vacation @ taman sari Water Castle“. Well, I did these death-defying things to get into Jogja’s Taman Sari, the now-defunct royal pleasure garden also commonly known as Water Castle! Located very near the royal Kraton Javanese palace and a bird-market called Pasar Ngasem very much south of Jalan Malioboro, Taman Sari or Water Castle is very a popular Jogja tourist attraction. However I certainly wasn’t expecting to do some “breaking in” to visit it…! The Water Castle served another purpose as a fortress for Jogjakarta back in the olden days. When enemies try to attack Jogja city, the royalty would hide in the Water Castle to be kept safe from harm’s way. If Jogja’s enemies ever found the entrance to the hiding place, they would be drowned and washed out by strong currents of water released from underwater passageways and possibly even water from the swimming pools. Talk about multi-tasking your swimming pool.

“Sunday Morning @ Monas “. The National Monument is one of the monuments in Jakarta erected to commemorate the Indonesian people fighting against the Dutch colonialist. The monument is located in central Jakarta, it is at the Lapangan monas (Monas square). The monument, with its unique style and is 137 m in height , was made of marbles with phallus form symbolizing the fertilizing. The flaming torch shape weighing 14.5 kg and is plated with 35 kg gold is placed on the top of the monument Every Sunday morning with my friends, we always take our time to have fun together. With our running shoes we run around monas. Because of scorcher, today we’ve already move on to Senayan field.

“Vacation @ Jungok Beach“. The beautifully magnificent scenery of Jungok Beach is not a debatable anymore. All people who have ever visited the beach argue that the beach’s white sand scattering over the seaside is one of the distinctive features. Furthermore, its turquoise water is awesome. Having some activities above the white sand and shallow water around the coast will be an unforgettable moment for everyone visiting Jungok Beach. Looking from afar, a cluster of coral reefs and lime stones is 12 meters north of the coast. That is the best panoramic background for those who want to take photographs. A cave spouting pure water is found on a hill; thus many people go to the cave for some waters.

“Picnic in Borobudur”. Do you know friends, that The Borobudur Temple complex is one of the greatest monuments in the world? It is of uncertain age, but thought to have been built between the end of the seventh and beginning of the eighth century A.D. For about a century and a half it was the spiritual centre of Buddhism in Java, and then it was lost until its rediscovery in the eighteenth century. In three month ago, with crew of “Best Friend Production” plus Indah, Bit-bit and Fanny, we went to there. After 2 hours journey, we arrived at 2 PM, we just take our picture at its place.
